Turtles, multi-coloured fish and beautiful fan corals and tree corals abound in the waters around the inner islands. The outer islands are less traversed areas so it is adventurous to explore the rich and varied sea life there as well.

Mountains, “The ‘Morne Seychellois” is the highest mountain in Seychelles and is surrounded by rainforest and granite peaks. Hiking through the park and up to the peak of ‘Morne Blanc’ is a great way to spend the day. You may even spot some rare and unusual birds and plants on the way. The view from up there among the mist and clouds is mesmerizing. There are a number of nature trails in Mahe and you can choose one based on your fitness level.

Botanical garden in Victoria, one of the must-see places in Seychelles for people with a love of nature is the Botanical Garden. The key attractions here are- Coco de Mer palm, exotic and endemic birds, Cannonball tree, giant land tortoise, terrapins’ pond, exotic flowers, fruits and spices.

Rum Distillery, this tour at Takama bay includes visiting the famous distillery located here. With a tour that takes up about half an hour to three-quarters of an hour, you can learn the history of the distillery, the process of making the famous Takamaka rum.
